My Darling Swedish Aunt Ingalill

I am on my way to see my darling aunt ingalill after not seeing her for three years. Ingalill is now 90 and has lived a life with challenges, yet she is the most positive person I know. “If you are depressed think about someone else. Don’t think about yourself” she says. She has had diabetes since she was 4 and had a bout of tuberculosis at 18 and these are wise words. She now lives in a wonderful retirement home after her husband, Ake, passed away. Residents look forward to her visits for a chat and a glass of wine. I love her dearly and cannot wait to hug her and kiss her.
