This High Dynamic Range (HDR) video will appear in your browser as a “standard” HDTV. However, to watch the true HDR version on a large screen, you need an Apple TV 4K box connected to an OLED HDR-capable TV. Start the app called Vimeo in Apple TV and search for “Granada, Spain. HDR”.
In Granada, we visit Alhambra – Red in Arabic. It is a good size town on the hill, built by Arab kings, with several palaces, gardens and a castle. In the afternoon sun the Alhambra citadel turns to bright orange and one understands why it is so well known.
Alhambra is so popular, that to get a ticket, we had to arrange a guided tour a month in advance. Each part of the complex has its own controlled in and out gate and one cannot go back during a visit.
It is here, in Alhambra, that Columbus got his Royal blessing for his voyage to the Americas.
